It’s a real pleasure to introduce you to our new name and branding — Buíon Phort Láirge.
This marks an exciting new chapter in our journey. Since 1996, our organisation has been deeply rooted in the communities of Waterford — working tirelessly to support individuals, families, and communities to thrive. Over the years, we have built a strong foundation of trust, support, and impact across both the city and county.
Today, as Buíon Phort Láirge, we reaffirm our commitment to that work — and we look ahead with renewed energy, ambition, and purpose.
Our new name is more than just a rebrand. Buíon Phort Láirge represents our identity as a proud, community-focused organisation. It speaks to unity, place, and purpose. It reflects our heritage, while also capturing our aspiration to broaden our reach and deepen our impact.
We remain steadfast in our mission: to reduce inequality, empower people, and improve quality of life across Waterford. And as we move forward, we do so together — with our communities at the heart of everything we do.
I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to everyone who has helped us come this far. To our funders, stakeholders, and partners — thank you for believing in our work and standing with us. To our dedicated staff and board of directors — your passion, resilience, and leadership continue to drive us forward every day.
Buíon Phort Láirge is a name we can all be proud of — rooted in community, and guided by the values that have shaped our work for nearly three decades.
We are excited about what lies ahead, and we look forward to continuing this journey — together — building stronger, more inclusive communities across Waterford.
Go raibh míle maith agaibh, and thank you.
